Heartsaver CPR & AED is a course offered for lay rescuers (NOT intended for healthcare providers). It is a comprehensive training program that teaches individuals how to perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, prompt, and effective manner. The course covers topics such as recognition and management of sudden cardiac arrest, performing high-quality CPR, and how to use an AED. Heartsaver CPR & AED is designed for individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, or for those who simply want to be prepared to save a life in their community.
**ALL courses are available in two different training methods – blended learning (online course and in-person skills check off) and classroom training. Both course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same American Heart Association Course Completion Card. Course prices are based on individual rates. Group rates are available. If you have a group, please call for pricing and availability.
