AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) teaches healthcare providers advanced techniques for managing cardiac and respiratory emergencies in infants and children. The course covers topics such as resuscitation, airway management, management of shock and cardiac arrest, and recognition and treatment of pediatric-specific conditions and emergencies. The goal of PALS is to provide healthcare providers with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively assess and manage critically ill infants and children, and to improve patient outcomes in emergency situations.
